Jasmine Jenkins

People experience pain and hurt in many ways. This could be felt through loss, heavy thoughts, fear, and frustration from loved ones. Sometimes we know what we need to do but don’t know how to start or where to turn. Fortunately I can help with this. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with years of experience working with depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, and family and relationship issues. I deliver therapy from a person-centered approach where I allow the client to identify and address their needs and maintain control moving forward in the therapy. I strive to provide a supportive environment free from judgment and full of acceptance and support.

I also utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy where I will assist you in connecting thoughts to your emotions and actions, then, together we will work reshape those thoughts to help give you relief from stress coming from within. Depending on the client’s needs, I utilize a Solutions Focused approach where I will work alongside you to assist you with getting unstuck by analyzing problems and working through them one step at a time. I enjoy equipping clients with tools to manage stress in many forms and finding new ways to adjust and heal to the challenges that life throws at them. My sessions concentrate on making sure the client feels heard, understood, respected, and equipped to move forward. I believe I am no expert in anyone’s life. My mission is to assist and bring forward the confidence, insight, and wisdom already existing within.
